Throughout the summer, Pine Grove School welcomes children ages 18 months to 6 years for our fun-filled camp program, running for eight weeks from late June through mid-August. This program is offered exclusively to children enrolled for the current or upcoming school year at Pine Grove. Summer camp is in high demand, and space is limited in both the Seedlings and 3–6 classrooms. Enrollment in the school year does not guarantee a spot in summer camp, and due to this fact, we are not able to accommodate families outside of our enrolled community. Children joining the 3–6 program (as transitioning toddlers or new to Pine Grove children enrolled for the upcoming school year) must be fully potty trained prior to attending camp.

Our summer program offers a “touch of Montessori,” blending the familiar structure and values of the school year with the joy, creativity, and flexibility of a camp experience. Each week features a unique theme that inspires activities, projects, and exploration. Past themes have included Big Messy Art, Nature Exploration, Ocean Fun, Fun with Felting, and Life on the Farm.

Campers enjoy a wide variety of hands-on experiences, including art, music, movement, early literacy, science, and sensory play, along with plenty of time outdoors. While the program is a bit more relaxed than the traditional school year, it continues to support independence, curiosity, and meaningful engagement.

Our camp is staffed by the same dedicated, well-trained teachers who work during the school year, providing continuity, strong relationships, and high-quality care.

Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, with optional extended care available for an additional fee: Early Care from 7:30–8:30 AM and Late Care from 3:30–4:30 PM. Registration for summer camp opens in early February.
